At So Far Out, weʼre on a mission to craft organic wines that are environmentally friendly, approachable, and free of all pretense. We source our grapes from Santa Barbara County: a region rich in biodiversity, with ideal conditions for growing organic produce. We take ownership of each step of the winemaking process, from how our grapes are grown to the packaging we use. And weʼre equally committed to quality and affordability, creating wine thatʼs good for the planet and good for the soul.
We believe that sustainability isnʼt just good for the environment; it brings a community of likeminded people together. At our Martian Ranch tasting room in Los Alamos, we foster an inclusive, curious atmosphere, where everyone can learn about and enjoy exceptional wines, regardless of their experience.
So Far Out is redefining what it means to be an organic winery. What started as just one label has turned into an envelope-pushing brand, rooted in creativity, collaboration and conscious winemaking practices. In a region packed with diverse climates and wine varieties, our founders use their extensive local history and winemaking knowledge to create organic California wines for the people: Everyday drinking wines that are delicious and affordable. Our operation is based in Los Alamos, but we source from special vineyards across Santa Barbara County.
